As last year, we held a midsummer networking event. This was an opportunity to meet other members of the specialist group, harangue the committee, hear what we have in store for the coming year and, if you have an opinion you want us all to hear, take a turn on the soapbox. All this was accompanied by drinks, food and a string quartet---courtesy of Imperial's neighbour, the Royal College of Music.
